Providing ideal family accommodation within easy access to explore this lovely part of the country with its bustling activity on and off the water.
On entering the cottage up a few steps, you arrive in a hallway with the kitchen leading off this. This is fully equipped with everything needed even with a small kitchen table and chairs, making a great spot for some breakfast in the morning. There is a spacious sitting room with a further dining table and chairs; a great place to enjoy some lovely home-cooked meals. Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms with a family bathroom. To the outside is a small courtyard at the front, making a great place to relax with a cuppa whilst planning the days’ activities. Within a short walk takes you to Brixham harbour which is proud to have one of the largest fishing fleets in the UK, where every day over 100 fishing boats land and sell their catch at the local fish market on the quayside. Close to the mouth of Brixham Harbour is Breakwater Beach, one of the cleanest beaches on the English Riviera.
Further afield, why not take the ferry to Dartmouth or Torquay, which both have a good reputation for fashionable restaurants, interesting boutiques and of course, all the amusement and activity along the waterfront? Alternatively, you can take a boat trip and cruise up the River Dart to Greenway, Agatha Christie’s former holiday home, and spend the afternoon in the lively market town of Totnes.
Whatever you decide to do, you will surely be spoilt for choice in this wonderful coastal resort of Brixham to enjoy at any time of the year.

alas on arrival the overall picture was not good, the exterior paint requires attention.The entrance door had a rotting sill, on entry the inside of the actual door had 3 large holes where an old lock had been removed.various lights were not working 4 including the bathroom shaving unit. this left the bathroom with 1 20 lumen light. also in this room no toilet brush, no anti slip mat for the bath when showering.the whole unit has had an obvious water ingress problem lounge ceiling has been quickly painted in parts along with window etc.in the front bedroom was a dehumidifier which we ran to its capacity every day.the settee in the lounge cover fell off to reveal broken left seat and the upholstery worn through on headrest and arm rest, even a charity shop would not accept this for sale.auto closer to the kitchen broken, in a unit with only one entry exit point this is not a safe option.on the monday i text the owner due to the state of the basin tap in the bathroom as it was about to detach itself and possibly rupture the pipes and cause severe water damage. to his credit he arranged a plumber the very next morning to fix that and replace faulty bulbs. It would appear that the owner is not aware of these faults and being so far way some genuine T.L.C is required . as the basic structure could be so much improved.we left early on friday and would not go back.
