Just returned from a week in Hunters moon and enjoyed our stay.Cons: On a main road so there was some traffic noise. Overlooked on the road side of the living area when blinds are open. (This didn't bother us as we expected it due to central location, but it may bother some people). Windows only open a limited amount, so it was very hot during our stay when temperatures were high. Could benefit from some fans. Washing machine doesn't have a dryer as advertised but there is a clothes airer. Our milk went off in the fridge, so unsure if it gets cold enough or it was just the extremely hot weather we had. Smelt fresh and of cleaning products on arrival but a slightly musty smell developed over the week in the entrance way. The carpet is quite stained there.Pros:Central location. Very good if non driving like us. 5 minute walk to bowling alley, 10 minute walk to harbour and town and another 10 mins to Torre Abbey Beach. Torquay station 25 min walk. Alternatively bus stop is right outside to take you to the harbour and on to Paignton. On the other side the bus takes you past Babbacombe downs. Get off there and you have Oddicombe cliff railway down to the beach and an array of pubs on the downs. Premier shop 2 mins up the hill and a Co op just before you get into the harbour. The designated parking space is great if you're driving. We didn't have a car with us but it was always free from rogue parking. Accommodation was clean, well equipped. Comfortable beds, made up for arrival. Plenty of towels (one set per guest) provided. Internet included. TV with various channels. Board games in lounge cupboard if weather isn't good. Some supplies already there, toilet rolls, hand soap, washing up liquid, dish cloth, tea towel, milk, some condiments in the kitchen cupboards. Don't know if these were from previous guests or the owner but it was helpful. The little courtyard outside doest get much sun because of all the trees and shrubs but my boys had room to kick a ball about. When it went into the downstairs courtyard the resident was happy to fetch it for them. There are residents with children in the building. Hannah was quick to answer queries before we arrived. Overall we had a lovely weeks stay and would deginately book again.

Lovely apartment right on the doorstep of everything , very convenient, only draw backs is it is right on the main road which sounds like a race track at night , and the carpets could do with replacing with laminate to get rid of the musty smell when you walk in , the fridge on my opinion doesn’t get cold enough as our milk went sour after a day and the washing machine is advertised as a washer dryer so we struggled to dry the clothes due to not finding the clothes aorer until we were packing up to come home lol other and the very minor negatives we would definately return and had a lovely weeks stay

No outside seating. Pizza trays but no Pizza cutter. No wine bottle opener. Front door sticking.
