We had a lovely stay in Boohay which was spotlessly clean with marvelous views over the bay. Teabags, biscuits and milk were provided which was much appreciated on arrival. We walked down to the esplanade via Shedden Hill Road, which is quite steep, rather than using the steps other reviewers mention. However, we discovered that the frequent number 12 bus towards Newton Abbot runs from the station to the centre and then along Abbey Road/Torhill Road. From there we walked down Shedden Hill (may be called St Luke’s at the top) back to Warren Road. This is a mostly level walk and far easier than walking up the hill. For anyone who is less fit or wishes to leave the car behind, this is a much better option for returning from the town or station. Perhaps a little more information on the excellent public transport options could be included in the information pack.

Lovely apartment, well equipped and very comfortable. We were ok but i think some might find the steps up from the front a bit much. But the views.....stunning!

We loved Boohay. Clean apartment close to local amenities and with a view to die for over Torbay. Bottle of complimentary wine on arrival was a nice touch and we could not have asked for a better base for a short Devon break.
