Riviera Mansion was originally constructed in the 1840’s by the English owner of a South African diamond mine. In the late 1950’s it was converted into the Homers Hotel. It closed in 2001 and a substantial part was converted back into a private home. The new double glazed, centrally heated stunning holiday Apartment, was completed in 2011.

...expectations. I cannot fault the apartment, from the top quality finish to the wide range of amenities provided. The views from the balcony over Torquay Bay and harbour are stunning and the outdoor seating provided a lovely opportunity to gaze over the bay, watching the many boats out at sea. The location provides excellent views which are due to its high cliff-side location. Be aware that a challenging walk home awaits after a day at the beach. The best apartment I have stayed in, and to be honest, I'm very picky and not not easily pleased, as my partner often points out! ...and bay views. Apartment is really clean and had all the amenities you need. We would really like to go back another time. Steps and great coastal walk down to the beach and some great waterfront places to eat even for vegetarians. Submitted by Surbjit on 25/07/2016

...in the whole of the bay. The balcony is so nice. In fact, it was difficult to move from it! The apartment is well furnished and accessorised to a very high standard. If I had any niggle at all it was that the shower in the master bedroom was a little awkward to get in to. Might have been better if the door was the other way round Submitted by Kevin on 30/05/2016
