Guests say

Riviera Mews is highly praised for its stunning sea views and well-equipped, modern yet cosy interiors. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, spaciousness, and the thoughtful touches like provided essentials. The location is ideal for exploring Torquay, though some note the steps to the town can be steep. While some minor improvements are suggested, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean' and well-maintained, which indicates a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is celebrated for its amazing sea views and proximity to the town centre and beach, despite some comments about the steep steps. The views and ease of exploring local attractions contribute to a high location score.

The property is described as cosy with a modern feel, and guests find the blackout curtains and spacious rooms comfortable. However, some guests mention the quality of mattresses could be improved, slightly affecting the comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-stocked kitchen and unexpected extras like a jacuzzi bath. However, suggestions for additional kitchen utensils, better Wi-Fi, and improved patio furniture indicate room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful provision of essentials such as milk, biscuits, tea, and coffee. Instructions for appliances are also provided. While these gestures are well-received, it is noted that such gifts are a courtesy and not guaranteed.

Riviera Mews has the most the amazing, sea views, if your sitting watching the sea or people watching along the sea front this is the place, The house has everything you need, kitchen is well equipped. Very modern but still has warm, cosy feel with lashings of hot water for showers or spa bath. Fab having undercover parking as well. Will rebook in the summer.highly recommend.

We had a great stay recently as a family of four. The location was exactly what we wanted for the view of the bay and the walk down the 'cliff walk' to the beach area. The accomodation was very clean and well stocked, with everything we needed in terms of kitchen items and cutlery, plenty of toilet paper and cleaning materials. The rooms are spacious and bright and it was lovely to have some outside space (although we couldn't find the key for the top balcony). The jacuzzi bath was a lovely surprise and the curtains in the bedrooms being blackout was fantastic as so often they are really light which disrupts sleep. The parking is right outside the front door and easy to get in and out of. It was a lovely touch to have some milk and biscuits, tea and coffee provided. There are instructions on how everything works which was really useful. We felt so comfortable and at home straight away. Very much recommend this accomodation for exploring Torquay and the area.

This property could easily achieve a 6 star rating. The location and views are superb, probably the best holiday let we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The property is set over 3 floors, with the lounge and kitchen at the top and bedrooms below (so might not suit everyone as it can get tiring unless you're fairly fit). All floors have amazing views of the seafront. The town centre is about a 5 - 10 min walk, but be aware that there are some very steep steps down to the town. I don't think i've ever got so fit in the last decade just climbing stairs (has done me a world of good). The property itself could do with just a few improvements (not the actual building - as that was great) in terms of accessories. Now bare in mind i am quite picky and i make no apologies for it (probably just a perfectionist). It would be nice to have the following -More kitchen utensils (very sparse) unless you eating out all the timeA hoover or dustpan and brush would have been nice as we hate leaving messA shelves (stick on one would be enough) for the showers to hold soap / shampooClock radio's in the bedrooms would be niceThe patio furniture was broken (one chair with the arm hanging off)The wireless signal in the lounge wasn't great (repositioning of the router required)Just some constructive feedback, great place and i wouldn't hesitate to come back to it.
