This is our 3rd time staying at this beautiful house. Always clean and perfect to arrive to, always well stocked and a thoughtful basket of lovely things to be greeted with.We love how close to the water and park it is and how accessible to the local village, by car and by foot.Plenty of room to spread out for larger families and warm and cosy when needed.

We had a fab time here. You can’t actually swim or let your dogs in the reservoir / lake. There are warning signs about the toxic algae. So we found a dog friendly beach in Felixstowe (Oct to April) to take the dogs for a swim. But we walked the 8 mile walk round the lake, it’s marked out quite well. We also took the dogs to a Jimmys Farm and Wildlife Park. 1 of 2 in the Country that allows dogs and it was great fun. My dog fascinated by the animals.Dogs are not allowed upstairs in the cottage and because my 2 are spoilt and wouldn’t settle downstairs alone, I slept on the sofa bed in lounge.Loads of hot water for a decent shower and kitchen fully equipped. We will definitely be back and would recommend, in fact already have. The cottage offers good value for money.
