The Little Barn nestles in the owners’ grounds (who are on hand and happy to assist) but retains privacy. To the rear of the barn is a small woodland with a walkway and a small basketball court with hoop for endless entertainment and opportunities for skill development.
The village of Hoxne, 5 minutes’ drive (2 miles) has a pub with restaurant, a village post office, deli and shop. Country walks are available all around and the Suffolk heritage coastline has fabulous beaches to enjoy. Explore Southwold, a fantastic seaside town with pier, historic lighthouse and high street lined with independent shops and boutiques. RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath offer opportunities for spotting birds and connecting with wildlife, with excellent walks available. For a quieter sandy beach, head to Covehithe, and for great days out, visit Snape Maltings, Framlingham Castle, Eye Castle, Halesworth Museum, Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens and Easton Farm Park.
The vibrant market towns of Bungay and Beccles boast independent boutiques and chain shops and the weekly market is excellent for all things local. At Beccles there is an open air heated outdoor swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers and gateway to the famous Norfolk Broads National Park. The surrounding area offers an excellent collection of eateries, including fine dining to many cafés serving home-made cakes and savouries to delight many palates. Beach 28 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Beautiful cute barn. Very clean. Nice and warm. Beautiful setting. Loads of things to do and see locally. Both us and our dog Mac was made to feel very welcome. Owners were lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a lovely stay! Highly recommend and would stay again

We had a brilliant stay at Little Barn. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and we loved that there was even some treats left for our dog. The hosts were lovely and gave us recommendations of things to do and walks to try with our dog. It was the perfect base for exploring the area and we enjoyed our cosy evenings after a busy day. The garden has been made secure the whole way round so we could let our dog out and know that she was safe, the woodland walk was an added bonus especially as there were snowdrops growing. If we even need somewhere to stay in Suffolk again we will not hesitate and to book Little Barm again.
