Perfectly positioned where the garden meets the Thorpeness Meare, Fairway is a light filled, single storey retreat set within a peaceful waterside setting of swans, gentle ripples, and quiet natural beauty. Wake to the romance of soft light over the lake, with swans drifting past and water shimmering just beyond the window, enjoy coffee together in the garden as boats glide slowly by, then head out for a gentle row across the Meare before returning to your private landing stage for a simple lunch by the water. With space for up to four guests, ample parking, and a secluded private garden on the water’s edge, this charming retreat is ideal for couples seeking a calm, romantic escape immersed in nature.
Designed for relaxation, Fairway features two inviting bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a 4’6” double bed and a private en-suite with a walk-in waterfall shower. The Waterlily Bedroom boasts a 5’ king-size bed and patio doors opening to the rear garden with uninterrupted Meare views. A newly renovated family shower room with a walk-in waterfall shower completes the sleeping spaces.
Every room is arranged for comfort and connection. The dining room, with seating for six, connects seamlessly to the kitchen, sitting room, and garden. The sitting room features a 32” Smart television, a corner sofa, and a large window framing the Meare. The fully equipped kitchen includes a side door for convenient access to the garden.
Outside, Fairway’s rear garden is designed for leisure and enjoyment. A table with seating for six, a large lawn, a gas barbecue, and a private landing stage on the Meare create the perfect setting for alfresco dining, outdoor games, and waterside relaxation. A gravel driveway at the front provides parking for up to five cars, with side pathways ensuring easy access around the property.

Pets are strictly not permitted on the premises or inside the property. Please ensure any visitors are also aware of this policy during your stay.
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the property.
Please supervise children carefully when outside near the Meare. Although the water is shallow, it still presents a risk to young children’s safety.
Please be aware that there is external cctv that monitors movement near the back door. This is solely for the owners’ use when the property is unoccupied.
The property is single storey.
Towels provided are not to be used for the beach.
A small additional charge for use of the EV Charger.

The Kennedy Family
Another wonderful stay at Fairway, thoroughly enjoyed by us all, particularly sitting by the Meare watching the wildlife and boats go by. Enjoyed trips to Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings and meals at The Dolphin,The Brudenell and The Lighthouse. We recommend the miniature golf at the golf club! Also boating on the Meare! Thank you for the lovely stay, we hope to be back.

We have had a lovely two weeks, No15 is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The weather was ideal and the evenings were spent sitting by the Meare, glass in hand and watching the wildlife go by. The fresh fish huts in Aldeburgh are superb and a must if you are a fish lover.

We had a wonderful break and despite the heat we were able to remain cool and everywhere was so peaceful. The accommodation was well equipped and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the garden where the shady places were much appreciated.Bird life both on the lake and in the garden also added to the enjoyment.
