A traditional pier and an array of independent shops and restaurants, from here you can pop on the foot ferry over to Walberswick, famous for its crabbing. Aldeburgh has the famous shell sculpture on the beach and a very popular fish and chip shop. If you can drag the children away from the beach then pay a visit to Africa Alive in Kessingland, here you will see hundreds of animals, Pleasurewood Hills at Lowestoft is a great way to spend a day, with rides for all ages. Being close to the Norfolk Broads you can take a day boat out and take a peaceful glide along the Broads.

Great location for exploring the local area. Welcome pack was nice with local produce. Cottage itself was ok but could have been a lot cleaner, dust & cobwebs in lots of places. The main negatives were that the front door would not open, not just stiff but jammed solid & the damp. There was a lot of damp on the wall in the first bedroom which made the room unuseable & also rust staining coming through on plaster beading around the windows which makes the property look very tired. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed.

What a find! We had a great week here, and it was a home away from home. Everything was comfy, super clean, and it had everything you would need plus more. The garden was the show stopper for me, and it was such a great place to entertain and catch up with family. The cherry on top was not only a delicious welcome hamper for the humans, but our two dogs got their own doggy goody hamper too! We're already planning our return!
