We found this to be a lovely property in a quiet and scenic location. The house was very clean, beautifully furnished and it has all the amenities that we needed. we all enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing on the veranda watching the birds feeding. We had fun using the river mooring for fishing and caught some nice sized fish. Almost caught the resident Pike but he got away. Also went kayaking several times and loved how tranquil the river was.The only negative is the garden once you go beyond the lawn area. The rest of the land has been left to go "to wild" and is largely inaccessible or too difficult to attempt. The path down the steep slope towards the river is very uneven and was not suitable for some of our group who had mobility issues. You can use a public footpath further along the road that does make it a bit easier to get down to the river mooring. This didn't prevent us from having a lovely family get together in an excellent house.

We had a lovey time here over the weekend. The kids enjoyed the playroom and toys and the kayaking. Having our own private dock on the river was brilliant. The house had so much space and was very comfortable for 8 of us. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the double fridges, freezers and ovens and great big dining table.
