Commanding a waterside position, located directly alongside the banks of the River Waveney, the gateway to the southern Broads, and a short walk away is the pretty town of Beccles. This property is perfect for a larger sized family gathering, but not suitable for parties. Nothing has been forgotten; guests will delight in the excellent standard of furnishing and comfort throughout.
The cottage has the most desired location in Beccles, having your own river frontage, perfect opportunity for boating activity, and where fishermen will delight in fishing directly from the pretty riverside garden. Enjoy the waterway with kayaks, canoes and day boat motor launches, available for hire locally. Or enjoy a guided boat tour, where you can really just sit back and soak up this incredible National Park. You are just a short stroll from the heart of the historical and pretty market town, located on the Norfolk and Suffolk border in the Broads National Park.
The town itself boasts independent boutiques and chain shops, excellent collection of eateries, including fine dining to many cafés serving home made cakes and savouries to delight many palates. The weekly market is excellent for all things local, should you wish to kick back and enjoy a night of cooking and dining in. On the doorstep is the Lido open air heated outdoor swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers.
Explore all the attractions that Norfolk and Suffolk have to offer including Southwold, 14 miles, with its seafront, pier and summer theatre, or Dunwich Heath and beach. There is also rspb Minsmere to visit, Aldeburgh, 28 miles, with its fishing boats and local seafood, and Snape Maltings, 24 miles, with its concert hall. Pleasurewood Hills theme park and Africa Alive are not to be missed, and children will love the treetop experience at Bewilderwood adventure park. Shops, pubs and restaurants 200 yards.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Riversdelle. From the generous welcome pack, the well equipped kitchen, great hot tub and wonderful cinema room. We could not have asked for more to make a family birthday weekend one to remember. We were blessed with the weather and would recommend Big Dog ferries who dropped us back at the house mooring after our trip up the river! Great place. Hope we can return in thee future.

Wonderful House!We’ve just came back from a weekend away, the house is spotless and had everything in there that you would need for a weekend/week stay. Lovely area, we had a ride on the big dog ferry which is a few houses down we got dropped off at a lovely pub for lunch and then came back.Highly recommend this property.
