Second visit to Stable Cottage, and once again very happy with our stay, very clean and comfortable, in lovely quiet surroundings, lovely owners, situated in the perfect place for exploring the beaches and coastline, great for walks with our dogs, mobile signal is a little weak and there is no WI-FI which may be of a concern to some but no bother for us personally, no doubt we will be back in the future

On arriving at Stable Cottage we found that another property was being built attached to Stable Cottage and there were building materials all around and cables sticking out of walls drain pipes resting on bricks and guttering missing altogether it looked like a building site. The patio doors out of Stable Cottage were locked as another unfinished room has been attached where the patio is shown on photo's which meant you looked directly into partly boarded walls, and again cables sticking out, also there is now a porch on front door which again is unfinished dusty concrete floor and cables sticking out. The door to the side of the property was locked and more building material stored covered with sheet. We went to use hoover and found it full to the brim and completely blocked with what looked like dog hair which we duly cleared,The shower was good but we had to clean out the plug which was dirty and had a lot of hair in which caused the water to back -up. Perhaps the owners should update the photo's on website as they do not show the property as it is now. I am sorry to say we were very disappointed with the overall appearance it was unkempt and nothing like the photo's on the website. We have taken photo's ourselves to show what is happening at Stable Cottage.

We stayed at the Cottage 18th-22nd June, 2025 and will be happy to go back again. The cottage is airy, spacious and well equipped. The location is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet, very tranquil. There are beautiful beaches around and a lot of pubs around. I highly recommend.
