Bovis Cottage, tucked away just off the High Street in Southwold is a wonderful place for a family stay or a romantic getaway. This terraced cottage was once part of a farm and retains a number of original features such as the spiral staircases. The cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms.

Bovis Cottage is located on Barnaby Green, just off the High Street in Southwold. There is an open-plan living and dining area at the front of the cottage with the kitchen at the back. The bathroom is off the utility area downstairs and has a bath with shower over, wash basin and wc. At the back of the house there is a small sun room and garden which gets the afternoon sunlight. There is garden furniture available for use.

The cottage has a number of features which date back to when it was built and the property is grade II listed. The staircase is spiral and leads up to a landing and the main bedroom. The bedroom has plenty of storage space and a window looking out onto Barnaby Green. The second bedroom is on the second floor, in the eaves and makes a charming, cosy room for children. There are twin single beds and storage on the landing.

There is parking to the side along Spinner's Lane but this is not designated for Bovis Cottage. Further parking is available on the common. The rear garden can be accessed via a right of way through two other gardens from Spinner's Lane but there is no right of way past Bovis Cottage and the rear garden is enclosed. Spinner's Lane has direct access out onto the common and down to the harbour.

Please note that the stairs may not be suitable for young children as they are steep and winding.

The stairs to the first and second floor are steep, narrow and winding. Please note that they may not be suitable for very young children who would need supervising using them.
