"It was situated in a quiet village but within easy reach of other places. The cottage had a lovely big kitchen diner but the rest was a bit worn and could maybe do with a freshen up with the decor, especially the bathroom. The cottage was tidy but the cleanliness wasn’t to our expectations and found some things not as clean as maybe should of been."
    Mrs Rye
"Fantastic village with many public footpaths, river close and beautiful walks. Great cottage for the dog as enclosed front and back gardens."
    Mrs Bodfield
"Lovely cottage in a fantastic location. You can walk or take a bus to Stratford. 3 pubs in the village, a lovely butchers and a handy store. Had a great time thanks Sue"
    Mrs Jose
"Good experiences straight from the start with helpful Cottages personnel...and you actually spoke to a person within a short time...not lots of redirecting! Lots of emails to keep you up to date. A lovely cottage in a beautiful area. We have been waiting for ages to revisit this quintessential English village full of friendly welcoming people and have at last found a property that we can do so as they accept dogs. However it was not a 'so so' property because of taking the furry member of your family with you but a lovely, well provided one with good quality provisions for the holiday maker. With a dog friendly pub opposite and within easy reach of many of many local attractions ,if you tire of the local walks, it is to be highly recommended. Would love to return."
    Mrs Peacock
"It was picture perfect, clean with everything you would need for a stay opposite a pub with a great food pub up the road. Brilliant for taking a dog as they are accepted in most bars, coffee shops and restaurants. We had a lovely relaxing break. Thank you."
    Mrs Morley
"lovely quiet village perfect for enjoying a relaxing holiday in a very nicely appointed cottage. Although we understood from the website that there was allocated parking the lack or the aforementioned did provide a few minor problems. An indoor clothes-airier and something to place hot saucepans on would be useful additions."
    Mrs Christine Davies, Llanidloes, Powys
"A well equipped cottage, very clean, tidy and in a peaceful location."
    Mrs Debbie Crothall, Wirral, Merseyside
"Rose cottage was cosy and comfortable and very convenient for the local pub, which is dog friendly. . Stratford-upon-Avon is only 10 mins away, as are lots of other pretty villages."
    Mrs Fiona Masterson, Le Vesinet,
"This was a lovely cosy cottage in a super village. The kitchen conversion made it feel roomy - unusual in a cottage. We loved being able to walk to the pubs in the village. The house was well equipped and tastefully decorated and furnished. We will definitely consider staying there again in the future."
Mr Kenneth Lane, Portisheadl, North Somerset
"Rose Cottage was well situated for easy access to places of interest. The cottage was comfortable and well maintained. We found Warwickshire a lovely place to visit."
    Mr Richard Farnfield, Bognor Regis,
"Nice accommodation and private garden, also very secure for pet dog."

"Lovely village with shop and pubs. Would highly recommend."
    - Mr Haydon, May 2018
"The Shakespere Inn was friendly welcome and dogs were very welcome. Did not have the same luck at the Bell Inn, dog's only allowed in the garden not a big problem but attitude was in different. The Blue Boar was the best of the bunch as far as food and welcome. The Four Alls looks very nice and will be dog friendly we were shown around prior to the grand opening day "Sadly the day we leave"."

"Parking not great as couldn't get around the rear of cottage and road was VERY busy and crowded"
    - Ms Melding, July 2018
"There is a secure garden for the dog to run around in and lovely walks in the vicinity. It is easy to get to lots of lovely places - Stratford, Croome, Kenilworth, etc. and there are lots of pretty villages to explore not too far away. The owner is very helpful. When I thought I had a problem with the patio doors, she came round straight away to sort it out. We (me and my toy Cavapoo) had a lovely time and I would recommend this cottage. There was one problem that bears reporting, although I hasten to add this should not detract from my positive comments on the cottage as above. The street is very narrow and parking is tight. The access to the off street parking for the cottage round the back of the terrace, was usually blocked (by neighbours, I presume, although the Shakespeare pub was opposite)preventing access. One afternoon I returned there was virtually no where to park on the street and a large truck needed to get though. I parked on the one available space half on the pavement to let them through and left the car there overnight. I did not appreciate having an anonymous, patronising note left by one of the neighbours on my car about not pavement parking. I don't like pavement parking either but there are times when it is necessary, as in this case. This rather soured the otherwise friendliness of the people I met."

"We have had a ĺovely stay in Welford, cottage was lovely although it took us a while to master the hob, the garden was secure and our dog enjoyed sunning himself on the patio. The Shakespere Inn was friendly welcome and dogs were very welcome. Did not have the same luck at the Bell Inn, dog's only allowed in the garden not a big problem but attitude was in different. The Blue Boar was the best of the bunch as far as food and welcome.
