This is a very large semi-detached holiday home, situated in quiet countryside on the borders of Herefordshire and Worcestershire within easy reach of the Malverns, The Wye Valley and Welsh Borders. The property is a spacious and well designed barn conversion situated on a working farm within walking distance of the market town of Bromyard. The living accommodation is on the first floor, with access via a timber deck, to take advantage of the views over the unspoilt countryside. There are plenty of exposed beams, rough cast walls and a piano, giving a rustic feel. This is a lovely area for walking and relaxing. There are several recommended pubs and restaurants in Bromyard, within walking distance of the house. Ideal for golfers and there is horse riding available nearby. This property can also be booked with property W4467. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Wonderful place to stay with plenty of space in a lovely setting - very friendly owners who provided the lovely touch with plenty of goodies (wine, chocolates, etc...) for our arrival. The one thing that could be improved was the draft from the window in the upstairs bedroom

I'm somewhat reluctant to tell everyone how good this property is for fear of not being able to secure a booking for when I want next year. The house is superb for our big family group ranging in age from 1 to 65, there's plenty of room in the sitting room ( four big sofas, a dining table that will seat 12 plus a high chair) so we're not all on top of each other. The Wi-fi is fast and can cope with streaming Mr Tumble for the 5 year old, watching live football for the adults who need it and for the teenagers to keep in touch with their friends. The kitchen copes well with a fried breakfast of epic proportions which is always a test of the catering facilities. The short walk into Bromyard with its pubs and the famous Christmas lights can be done in the dry although we have yet to experience this as we've hit lots of rain on both our previous stays in December. All round it's a real find.

5 of us stayed at Hop Pocket for 3 nights in October. We were highly delighted with how spacious the property is. It was perfect for us as we all had our own sizeable room with comfortable large beds. Some rooms have a single bed too, allowing for more guests. It was great to find a property without bunk beds! There's 4 bedrooms on the lower ground floor 2x with en suite and 2 that share a large bathroom. On the very top floor there's another en suite bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped, and the house felt warm and inviting. The owners were friendly and communacative - thank you for all of the delicious treats. The house was easy to find and is accessible via a long tarmaced driveway. The views across the fields were splendid and there is an outside space with table and chairs etc. There's also plenty of parking. WiFi signal was good. We liked the area and visited many NT properties and did some great walks. We also enjoyed the food and ambience at the Plough pub. I would recommend this holiday cottage to others. It's suitable for really large groups as it is interlinked with the neighbouring holiday cottage.
