Gooses Roost - UK32096 is a well-regarded cottage in Hereford, praised for its relaxing atmosphere, comfortable bed, and friendly hosts. Guests appreciate the secure courtyard for dogs, the beautiful local walks, and the high standard of the barn conversion. While some find the location ideal for exploring, others wish for closer amenities. A welcome pack is often mentioned, adding to the thoughtful touch by the hosts.
The cottage is consistently described as clean and comfortable, with no negative comments on cleanliness, suggesting high standards are maintained.
The location is appreciated for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions, though some guests note it is a bit far from pubs and shops.
Many guests find the cottage comfortable, especially the bed, but there is a mention of it not being suitable for a full-time wheelchair user, which affects the comfort score.
While the reviews mention good facilities and a well-equipped kitchen, there is a lack of detail on maintenance, and one review cites issues with suitability for wheelchair users, so a definitive score cannot be given.
Guests often mention a welcome pack, indicating the hosts' thoughtfulness. However, it's important to note that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

It is a lovely place , with enormous bed, brilliant wet room and excellent wifi The only thing to note the garden is not attachedIt is a secure courtyard 2mins from the property.I managed ok with this. You could bring a dog pen and put it on side the doodoor I found two good walks ,one go left out of the drive and immediately after the white House public footpath sign, follow down and in the left corner of field another sign .The other walk little mountain go right , you can stick to the grass verge for a while but then a bit on the road. You will see a sign on the right for a road go up this a long walk but worth it for the view .If the place has a secure area from the property I would definitely go back .It's such a lovely relaxing place .The owners are very lovely and very helpful.
