We had a lovely week at Swallow Lodge. First and foremost the accommodation was very comfortable in every respect and had good facilities topped off by the wonderful hot tub which was a delight at the end of the day especially as we did a lot of walking....so relaxing! Good rural location only a short drive to lovely Hay on Wye, although Castlefields pub restaurant was only yards from the property there was little noise and didn't detract from the privacy and quiet. Carol was a good host leaving a welcome box of food and drink on arrival and calling in to check everything was okay. Exploring the Wye Valley & nearby Brecon Beacons and National Park was a treat fantastic scenery and so much to do and see. Sugar Loaf Mountain & Brecon Mountain Railway were highlights. Highly recommend the location and property.

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. It was beautiful inside and had mostly everything we needed. Maybe an iron would be helpful though. The hot tub was great and easy to use. When we arrived there was a selection of local food and drink for us which was a lovely touch. We would definitely stay again.
