Thalassa is a well-equipped, comfortable cottage in a peaceful location, ideal for exploring Herefordshire and nearby attractions. Guests appreciate the spacious garden, especially for dogs, and the super king-size bed and reclining sofas. The property is clean and offers most essentials for a relaxing stay. While some minor maintenance issues and the lack of local amenities are noted, the owners are helpful and responsive. Guests should bring their own supplies, as welcome packs and milk are not always provided.
Most guests found the property clean and comfortable, with spotless bedding and towels. However, a few mentioned cobwebs, windows and patio needing a clean, and some crockery requiring washing before use.
The cottage is praised for its peaceful setting and proximity to attractions, but the lack of village amenities and the need for a car are noted. The area is ideal for exploring the countryside, though walking options are limited due to narrow pavements and a busy road.
Guests consistently highlight the comfort of the super king-size bed, reclining sofas, and spacious layout. The enclosed garden is a bonus for dog owners, and the property is described as relaxing and peaceful.
The cottage is generally well-equipped, but some guests experienced issues with the dishwasher, missing or chipped crockery, and a lack of outside clothes drying facilities. Instructions for appliances were sometimes missing.
While the owners are described as helpful and responsive, several guests noted the absence of a welcome pack or even basic items like milk. Please note that gifts or welcome packs are not guaranteed at this property.

Set just off the ‘A’ road between Ledbury and Hereford this is located behind the owners property, with ample parking space in front or to the side of the property and its own secluded garden to the rear. The owners are responsive to any issues but leave you to enjoy your holiday. It’s a quiet and relaxing location ideal for touring both Hereford and the Forest of Dean and close to a number of National Trust properties which are well worth viewing (Croft Castle; Brockhampton). Ledbury is a pretty little town with a number of independent shops and cafes and Hereford is an easily accessible city with major supermarkets as well as independent shops, indoor market and restaurants. The property was clean and comfortable. The village is more of a hamlet with no shop although it does have a pub. We would certainly consider rebooking if we were touring the area again.

Really nice cottage, ideally situated for visiting surrounding areas and close to Malvern when the Flower shows are on (our reason for staying in this area) But; Appliances and contents not checked, the dishwasher wasn’t working, all the rollers on the bottom basket were broken off, not allowing the paddle to rotate (this must have been like it for quite some time) we reported it to the owner on our second day, he said he would order new runner wheels, told us as we were leaving to come home that they had arrived, had to wash up by hand, not what you want when there should have been a fully working dishwasher, there was some crockery missing and some chipped and one saucepan missing, the lid was there, these issues also reported to the owner We paid a lot of money for the Cottage and expected it to be as advertisedWe also noted that there were only approximately Four items with a PAT test sticker on, but none had a date on or signed, the testing is a legal requirement yearly on all Electrical itemsEven thought we had these problems we had a really lovely holiday,
