Most guests found the lodge clean and tidy, but a few mentioned it could benefit from a more thorough cleaning, with some instances of mould and dirt reported.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views, peacefulness, and proximity to local walks and amenities, making it an ideal retreat.

The lodge is generally considered comfortable, with some guests finding the beds too soft. The comfort level is subjective and varied among guests.

Facilities like the hot tub and games room are appreciated, but some guests noted maintenance issues such as a broken pool table and leaks in the games room.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous four nights away. The view from the lodge was amazing and I never grew tired of looking at it. We went on some walks in the local area from the lodge: to Offa’s Dyke, the monkey puzzle trees and Stanner Rocks. It was an excellent location for all of those. The hot tub was wonderful, definitely needed after a day of walking and the games room provided screen-free entertainment. We loved our time away and are looking forward to returning soon.

We had a lovely time at Offa's Dyke Lodge, the area is beautiful if you want to get away from it all! The owners were nice and on hand when we had any issues. There were plenty of towels and bed linen provided as well as tea bags, coffee and sugar. However the lodge itself unfortunately is a bit tired and in need of some tlc, the pictures are quite outdated. It also needed a really good clean.

Id booked this place as a birthday treat for my son and his partner. Beautiful location, stunning views but unfortunately the lodge was a little dirty. Mould in the bathroom and was left with a mould cleaning spray by the cleaner. Just didnt look as though it had a proper clean unfortunately. Beds werent comfortable either. Hot tub was a masive let down, they were only able to use it 3 times as my son suffered what looks like chemical burns. Hes covered in a horrid rash all over his body thats burning and turning infected. His partner only went in twice as she couldnt stand the burning. Im sure this is down to lack of cleaning and maintenance of the hot tub or too much chemicals. Owners were easy to get hold of and accommodating, again nice spacious lodge with beautiful views so its a shame this couple of things let it down.
