Renovated in 2019, Belfield is a beautiful cottage in the heart of Herefordshire, perfect for families and couples who are looking for that home-from-home feel in the middle of the countryside. The cottage is perfectly situated, being only 5 miles from the popular town of Ledbury where there is a train station with links to Birmingham, London and Hereford as well as great restaurants and shopping opportunities. You will find a local shop and garage 3½ miles away at Newtown Cross, another at Fromes Hill, 4 miles. There are a couple of pubs in Bishops Frome, 3½ miles, and a dining pub in Staplow, 3½ miles in the other direction. A good golf course is situated just 5 miles from the cottage.
Belfield cottage has been furnished to a good standard, giving you a warm and comfortable feel throughout your stay. On the ground floor you will find a well-equipped open plan kitchen, dining and living space full of character with exposed beams. Double doors lead out onto the patio area which gives onto a large lawn and distant woodland views. The ground floor also includes a family bathroom and a bedroom, which can be a double or a twin. Upstairs, you will find the second double bedroom, again with the option to make it a twin room. This bedroom includes an en-suite with a shower.

My wife and I had a very relaxing and comfortable stay for a week at Belfield. The house is very well stocked and comfortable and the garden is lovely and very peaceful. The dogs, dot and scrap, do like attention but are very friendly and welcoming and know not to come into the house. There are lots of interesting National Trust and other beautiful houses and gardens to visit within a short drive and Ledbury is an attractive town. We would very happily stay here again, which is perhaps the best recommendation one can give. Many thanks to Julie for making us welcome, with very clear directions and communication prior to our visit and an excellent starter hamper!

A very well equipped cottage in a delightful rural setting, but also very well placed for easy access to the Three Counties Show showground at Malvern. An excellent welcome pack, our host Julie had enquired about dietary preferences, so the soya milk was much appreciated. We knew we would be welcomed by the resident dogs, Dot and Scrap, and I must say that as someone who is not normally a dog lover, they were great fun and one of the highlights of our stay. We will definitely be back.
