Guests say

Guests have enjoyed stays at School Lodge, appreciating its lovely views, private garden, and hot tub. The nearby Boyne Arms pub is frequently praised for its food and hospitality. The lodge is described as cosy and ideal for both couples and dogs, with scenic walks and towns like Bridgnorth and Ludlow within easy reach.

Most guests found the lodge clean and cosy, but there were mentions of a dirty jug, microwave, kettle, and pet hair on the sofa cover, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its seclusion, quietness, and proximity to local pubs and towns, with scenic walks directly from the lodge.

The lodge is generally described as cosy and quaint, though some guests noted the bed size and sofa comfort could be improved, indicating a good but not perfect comfort level.

Facilities like the hot tub are well-received, but there are comments about the need for better instructions, more cups and glasses, and updates to furniture and garden equipment.

Guests mentioned thoughtful touches like cold drinks on arrival and a bar of chocolate in the fridge. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they should be considered a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

What a lovely little cabin to stay in. Super cozy, mega clean on arrival, full equipped kitchen with plates, glasses, pans, cutlery etc. very good WiFi as well brought out fire stick and barely any issues or lag. Jacuzzi was great. Owner came and made herself known and gift us some dog treats and butter biscuits which was a lovely surprise. Area is very quiet as it was a doggie holiday and as it was the week for bonfire we heard no fireworks around the area which was awesome as our dog had stress free nights. The local pub is a 4 min walk and served nice food and staff are so friendly, we had great conversation with Simon. Bridgnorth is a 20min drive and a lovely town to walk around with the dog. There are plenty of dog walks and things to do but requires driving.

Thoroughly enjoyed our break. Maybe more cups and glasses as one of the cups was chipped as previously mentioned. Husband enjoyed the hot tub. Lovely views
