Cleeves Cabins 2, Ailsa Luxury Lodge with hot tub is a charming holiday cabin resting in Dalry, set in an elevated spot with superb far-reaching views across the Ayrshire coast and the Firth of Clyde. Arrive to a smart, eco-friendly retreat where the scenery immediately takes centre stage; step out onto the decking, breathe in the fresh country air, and let the landscape draw your eye from sea to valley to distant hills. As daylight shifts, the patio furniture becomes the perfect place for slow mornings with a warm drink, or evenings spent watching the colours change over the water.
Inside, the studio-style space is presented to a high standard, blending a king-size bed with open-plan living so everything feels easy and sociable. The kitchen is well equipped for holiday cooking, while the dedicated dining area sits ready for laid-back meals framed by those panoramic views. After a day outdoors, rinse away the salt and breeze in the shower room, then drift back into the glow of the living area, where a Smart TV and WiFi make it simple to unwind. With a single sofa bed in the sitting area, this lodge suits couples, a small family, or friends sharing a scenic base.
From Dalry, set off to explore Ayrshire’s beaches and coastline, beginning with Ardrossan for seaside strolls and harbour views, then continue to Stevenston for more shorelines and fresh-air wanders. For a change of pace, Glasgow sits within driving distance, offering galleries, shopping, and evenings out to round off your trip. Closer to home, Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park invites cycling and walking among wide-open landscapes, while bigger days out can include fishing spots or even the far-reaching skies of Galloway Forest Park for memorable stargazing. However you plan to spend your time, Cleeves Cabins 2, Ailsa Luxury Lodge with hot tub in Dalry makes a splendid base for an Ayrshire escape.
Dalry, or St. John’s Town of Dalry, to give it its full title, is a village in Kirkcudbrightshire and is on the route of the ancient pilgrimage from Edinburgh to Whithorn and St Ninian’s Cave. The Knights Hospitaller of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem owned much of the land around the village and offered particular support to pilgrims undertaking the journey. The village today is attractive and has two pubs offering meals and a general store. The nearby towns of New Galloway and Castle Douglas provide more opportunities for shopping. Ideally located for walking, fishing and cycling, the surrounding Galloway Forest Park is home to some of the renowned 7stanes cycle venues and also boasts the UK’s first Dark Sky Park.
