Guests generally appreciate the well-decorated, cosy cottage in Clun, praising its comfortable beds and thoughtful touches like wine and dog treats. The secure garden and proximity to local amenities and scenic walks add to its charm. Some concerns over space for larger groups and minor maintenance issues are noted.
The majority of guests found the property to be spotlessly clean, with only one report of a damp smell following a flood, which seems to be an isolated incident.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to local shops, pubs, and scenic walks. However, some guests noted the busy road and parking difficulties.
Guests frequently mention the comfortable beds and cosy atmosphere. However, concerns about the property being compact for six adults and some issues with heating suggest room for improvement.
Facilities are generally well-received, especially the well-equipped kitchen. Some maintenance issues like TV and bathroom extractor fan problems were mentioned, indicating some areas need attention.
Many guests were delighted by the thoughtful gestures such as welcome gifts. While these are appreciated, it's important to note that such extras are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The property was perfect for our short break, warm and cozy with lovely decor. The house was situated perfectly for some amazing walks and the village of Clun was beautiful with two lovely pubs, a really well kitted out shop and very friendly locals. Would definitely recommend this property.

Three good bedrooms - all doubles with comfy beds. Ideal for a family - or younger adults as six older adults may find it a little compact. We were a couple and a dog - so masses of space for us! Good bathroom with double shower with plenty of hot water. A suggestion of a heated towel rail would be useful in assisting with drying towels but otherwise all good. Supplied towels and bed linen a bonus and good quality together with a few essentials that we found upon arrival - tea, coffee, loo rolls etc. including treats for the dog. Useful SPA shop in the village and we made use of the local pub the White Horse which did a lovely homemade Beef and Ale pie. Parking opposite the property was fine - so long as families are aware the front door opens direct to the street - we had recce'd the property with Google Maps so knew what to expect. Overall - it was good value for the price paid. We had a great stay and would return again.

The first night of my stay was spent in a very cold house. The heater in the lounge suddenly started working on the Tuesday therefore the first 2 days there was no heat radiating from it The heaters in all other rooms did not get warm at any time !! The photos of the property are deceiving as the hallway is dark and cold and the lounge, although shown as bright and airy in the photos, is very dark due the extension that has been added on to the back of the property
