The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and clean. Well located for good walks and for exploring Shropshire and the Welsh borders. Easy walk to a pub with good food and another with live music, two cafes and a grocery store as well as a handful of other shops. Parking was usually unavailable right outside the house but easy to find a spot a little further down the road. Nice secure garden fur the dog and the memorial hall park just five minute walk away for early morning dog walking.

Nice play to stay. Excellent location to make many (long) walks with a dog. Good base for visiting attractions in the surrounding area. Nice people in the village, always in for a chat. We spent our holiday well in Clun and had a lovely time (and weather).
