If you’re looking for a large space with lots of bedrooms and spaces for socialising in a gorgeous location where you will get peace and quiet, then this location could work out very well. This is an old property, a converted barn, with some *very* dated features, such as the oil heating, and well-worn furniture. Some of the furniture could (and probably should) be replaced. Two cots and high chairs are provided, but one of the cots was unusable with several broken bits of wood, both had very old, stained mattresses, and the high chairs were filthy and falling apart. The heating system is very complicated, but it does at least heat the space well (too well, at times). There have been some modern improvements, such a couple of newer toilets, but mostly the building is in need of a great deal of TLC. We were comfortable, however. Despite creaky floors and old spring mattresses, we all slept ok and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery and local amenities. The nearest shops and train station are about 10 minutes away. Beware that the lanes you’ll have to navigate to reach Dinchope are very very rough and narrow. Take care!

We only booked this house as it's location was convenient for a local family celebration and it was big enough to accommodate our extended family. The house smelt very musty and is very tired and in need of a total update. Too much old, tatty, mismatched furniture. Curtains hanging off rails. Poor quality mattresses and old, thin bed linen. Missing light bulbs in bedside lamps.Kitchen and bathrooms adequate and reasonably clean. We would not to choose to stay here again..

Slightly dated, but large and comfortable, ideal for a family meetup.
