The area is a walker’s haven as it is close to Offa’s Dyke, Glyndwr’s Way, the Mortimer Trail and the Shropshire Hills, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The owners have devised a number of local walks that can be achieved from the front door. Knighton, 3 miles, offers independent shops, pubs, restaurants and the Offa’s Dyke Centre. Castles in the area include Ludlow, Powys and Clun. Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells, the Royal Welsh Showground, and the market towns of Newtown and Welshpool are within easy reach. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub ½ mile.

Absolutely beautiful lodge. Very clean and tastefully furnished. Everything you need. Owners really helpful left great walking route instructions from the door. Lovely countryside. No complaints at all. Would recommend for sure and stay again💯

We spent a lovely few nights at the Lodge, a lot of thought has gone into furnishing it and it met all our needs. We managed to get lost on day of arrival but rang Phil and he talked us through directions. Nice to find that the TV had Netflix etc on it. Would certainly recommend it.
