New for 2019. Contemporary two bedroom lodge with a master bedroom with en suite shower. Twin room. Family sized bathroom with shower attachment. Open plan kitchen/dinning/lounge area. The twin room can be made into a double with prior arrangement at the time of booking or directly with the park. This request must be made to the park at the time of booking and well in advance of arrival. The park will not be able to arrange this for guests at short notice.

Heron was the perfect size for a family of 4. The lodge is spacious and has everything you would need to cook. The bedrooms are a good size and there are wardrobes with hangers provided. I liked that a cleaning spray and dishwasher tablets were provided. We forgot to pack any shampoo but luckily there was a gorgeous smelling body and hair wash in both the bathroom and en-suite. The hot tub overlooking the canal made this accommodation really special.We visited in the winter but I would imagine the huge decking area would be fabulous in the summer.

Wow! Absolutely stunning lodge… cannot rate this lodge enough. The location is perfect, on the canal and surrounded by countryside. We spent Christmas at Heron lodge, the owner introduced himself on our first evening and was very welcoming. We fed the reindeer on his farm on Christmas morning, it was perfect.We walked down the canal into Ellesmere, it is a lovely little town with independent shops and cafes.The hot tub was well used by us all and was so peaceful.There was milk in the fridge, eggs on the side and we were hand delivered sausages! - thank you 😊We will definitely be returning! We are already looking at available dates.I highly recommend Winston farm lodges. 5 ⭐
