Located in North Shropshire, within the village of Pentre, a perfect location to access walking direct from your door, choosing to stroll around the fields or venture further afield to explore the surrounding areas.
The national cycle route 81 is close by, and within a five-minute drive lies Nesscliffe Hills and the Cliffe Countryside Heritage Site. Home to a 70-hectare area of mixed woodland and heathland to explore; that’s about the size of 140 football pitches! There is a wealth of historical features and wildlife on the site and an extensive network of paths to explore. Ten miles away is Shrewsbury, full of finds to be discovered by foot or by boat, the café culture, farmer’s market, the castle and the churches that dominate Shrewsbury’s famous skyline are a must see. Oswestry, where Shropshire meets Wales and only 11 miles away. It’s an ancient Shropshire market town, so close to Wales that you can enjoy exploring both sides of the border. Our family have had a great holiday. The barn is really spacious, comfortable and very clean. The hot tub is amazing and can easily fir 4 people. We will definitely return!

We stayed at Buckley farm 1 for my nephews birthday! He’s a little bougie baby and choose that he wanted a lodge on a farm with a hot tub and a fire pit. And the lodge absolutely delivered and made his birthday weekend the best! It was immaculately clean and way better than what we expected. We particularly loved the kitchen/ lounge area. We were pleased to see there was another lounge area with the sofa bed as well as two bedrooms upstairs. The lay out of the lodge was lovely. The host, Debbie, made our stay super special. She baked a lovely home made cake for our arrival and was there to help or provide anything additional we needed (we needed a rolling pin for our pizza bases and Debbie was at the door within minutes to save the day). She was super lovely and welcoming and she should be proud of the lovely lodges that she offers to everyone. Thank you Debbie. Would definitely recommend and there’s nothing that we would change about our stay !

A most superb and serene place! Our children simply cannot wait to return. Everything was perfect; extremely well equipped, conspicuously clean, spacious and beautifully decorated! The only things that we would suggest (as to maximising the experience even more), would be to consider providing some board games? We feel this would be a really nice touch for families. Also adding extra privacy (maybe some screening) around the hot tub, and barn, as it was quite exposed to the various cars that were regularly parked there. Many kind thanks!!!!!
