Sleeping up to three guests in two bedrooms, it is perfect for couples, small families and friends looking to escape to a peaceful, rural setting. The owners live next door and are on hand if you need any help with local recommendations.
Step inside and you are welcomed into a warm and inviting barn-style cottage. At the heart of the home is a cosy open plan living and dining area with under floor heating throughout. Northwood Farm Cottage offers guests the chance to relax and watch Sky Sports and BT Sports/TNT BT Sports, Sky Sports via SkyGo login details provided allowing you to watch all of the Premier League and Champions League games whilst unwinding after a day walking of exploring! There are also ample spots to work from home, taking advantage of the super fast fibre broadband. There’s a lovely little seating nook under the stairs perfect for reading or planning the next day’s activities together. Next door through to the kitchen, it is fully equipped with modern appliances, and a breakfast bar, depending on your mood you can choose to eat here or at the dining table next door. The two bedrooms are upstairs, one with a sumptuous double bed and the other a single. Both beds are very comfortable and are kitted out with Joules linens making it extra comfortable. The bathroom is between the two bedrooms with a shower over the bath and heated towel rail.
Northwood Farm Cottage is the perfect base from which to discover this idyllic part of the country. Right from your doorstep are great walks and lots of countryside to explore. You are very close to the market towns of Market Drayton, Whitchurch, Llangollen, and Shrewsbury all offering, fantastic independent local shopping, great coffee shops and restaurants to visit. Also close by there is Alderford Lake, which has a lovely farm shop, and seasonal activities and events going on throughout the year. A must visit!
Hawkstone Park Follies is another place to explore, jam packed with walks, trails, and private tours, with the chance to see lots of wildlife and of course the follies. Or if you like amazing food within a village setting, try the local inn.
There is also an electric vehicle charging point available for overnight charging (chargeable at £10), as well as super-fast chargers just a five minute drive from the cottage.

We had a lovely five days at the cottage. It's in a quiet area, yet it's a short drive to supermarkets, shops and pubs. Provided amenities are excellent, and the furnishings are very nice. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Very quiet. Highly recommend

Stayed her for a long weekend with my daughter.What a beautiful cottage in a quiet and rural area. The cottage had everything we needed and more.We visited the beautiful town of Shrewsbury which was so lovely with the river running through it. We also visited Hoo Zoo which was very value for money with lots of different variety of animals.We definitely will be visiting Shropshire again and would 100% recommend the cottage to our family and friends

I would definitely recommend this cottage, the location is perfect as you are so close to many attraction around the area. The cottage was clean and had everything you needed. Tom was very friendly and said if we need anything just give him a shout. The leaflets and recommendations was a big help on places to visit. Me and my son went somewhere everyday and all my son wanted to do was come back to the cottage he loved it. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone.
