Set right on the lakeside this wonderfully restored shepherds hut has everything you need for a relaxing luxury break. Arriving at Heron’s Hide you are greeted by a large decked area complete with its own wood-fired hot tub, ready warmed for your arrival. There's also a barbecue, garden furniture and deck chairs beautifully located at the water's edge. Inside, there is a cosy open-plan living space which is home to a delightful super-king size bed with luxury linens, kitchenette and seating area. Through the double sliding doors, you’ll find an inviting free-standing bath with hand-held shower head, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Located in a secluded area, you won't be disturbed by traffic sounds here; no better place to relax and enjoy the birds and the wildlife on your doorstep. If you do venture out, being set on a private estate you can explore the surrounding gently rolling countryside on foot or by bike, with lots of quiet lanes and tracks in the vicinity.

Herons hide is one of the best accommodations I have had the pleasure of staying in. The photos on the website do not do it justice even though you can tell how amazing it looks its not until you get there that you realise just how breath taking it is. We visited for my husbands 50th birthday and his request was to stay somewhere in the middle of nowhere, there are no people around or any noise as he wanted a complete remote and peaceful place, we were both gob smacked that I had found somewhere that matched his wishes ð We are both so happy to have found this place and felt lucky to have experienced it. If you want nothing but peace, quiet, tranquil and relaxing then this is the place to stay. The accommodation itself was immaculately designed and put together and there is so much attention to detail which personally to me makes it that bit more special. The cleanliness was incredible and the bed is ridiculously comfortable ð The hot tub is Scandinavian, and there was more than enough logs to keep it going for the duration of our stay. We loved having our own private lake which made the while experience even more relaxing. I cannot say enough of how amazing this place is and I would highly recommend Herons Hide to everyone. We want to visit again next year.
