Waterworld swimming pool, china factory tours, museums, steam railways, Alton Towers, Biddulph Grange Gardens and Little Moreton Hall (National Trust) are within 10 miles. Lovely location, nice comfortable cottage, the owner Steve was very friendly and helpful, particularly with the TV. Would benefit from having a few essentials eg salt , pepper, maybe a small welcome pack; we arrived on a bank holiday so no local shops were open. Great walks along the canal and the pub , which is 50yds away, was excellent; cosy, friendly staff and great food.All in all a very nice short break

We really enjoyed our week stay in the cottage. It was lovely and peaceful with lots of places to visit. The local pub The Hollybush Inn, was very welcoming with excellent food on offer.
