They stand adjoining a renowned country pub in the hamlet of Denford, adjacent to a country park and within 4 miles of the Peak District National Park. Leek is 3 miles. Waterworld swimming pool, china factory tours, museums, steam railways, Alton Towers, Biddulph Grange Gardens and Little Moreton Hall (National Trust) are within 10 miles. We were a party of four adults + one dog. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment. the tranquil walks along the canal towpaths of which there are many. The locals are friendly are helpful in recommending places to visit. Ditto with the Hollybush Inn, good food and friendly atmosphere. Steve the owner was a phone call away if ever needed. If we had an issue it would be Frying Pans, they have been well used. we always take our own from previous holiday lets. Would we stay again? Definitely, we are already looking to book again next year.

Lovely week spent in the cottage. Owner let us exercise our dogs in the field-which he owns at the side of the property. Pub a couple of doors up. Lovely walks along the canals . A few minutes from the supermarket and local markets. A few of the neighbours recommend places to visit. The only thing I would say about the cottage is that the bathroom/shower room could benefit from an update.
