Waterworld swimming pool, china factory tours, museums, steam railways, Alton Towers, Biddulph Grange Gardens and Little Moreton Hall (National Trust) are within 10 miles. Lovely week spent in the cottage. Owner let us exercise our dogs in the field-which he owns at the side of the property. Pub a couple of doors up. Lovely walks along the canals . A few minutes from the supermarket and local markets. A few of the neighbours recommend places to visit. The only thing I would say about the cottage is that the bathroom/shower room could benefit from an update.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to hollybush cottage - the pub was lovely and served great meals - the kitchen was well equipped - the only thing I found lacking that there was not a cloth for wiping down the sides so we had to sacrifice a flannel to clean the kitchen counters - very pet friendly and lovely location - we enjoyed sitting out the front in the morning for a cup of tea - we are a family of 3 (2 adults and a 7 year old)
