Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. The Stables provides luxury accommodation for up to four guests. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen providing everything you require to cook up your favourite meals, along with a dining table with chairs to enjoy family meals together or a game or two. The open archway in the kitchen leads to the living room with comfortable seating and a TV, a perfect space for relaxing and winding down in after a busy day. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one has a double bed and the other has zip and link twin beds that can be made into a super kingsize on request. Both also have their own en-suite shower rooms for extra privacy and convenience. The bedrooms have a comfortable and cosy atmosphere with high quality linen to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Outside there is parking for two cars and a patio area where the stunning views can be enjoyed.
Ramsor Farm is situated on the edge of the Peak District and made up of three adjoining sandstone barn conversions, all beautifully finished. A quick 15-minute journey into Ashbourne means it is a must visit for your time here, you can amble around the town enjoying the shops, cafes and pubs or head to Dovedale, which is famous for the stepping stones to cross the river. There are some good trail routes nearby such as Tissington Trail and High Peak trail, both good for walking and cycling. There are walking routes take are directly from the properties too in which you can walk for miles or keep it short and sweet, whichever you prefer.
Alton Towers theme park lies just a couple of miles from Ramsor Farm and makes for a great day out for all the family with a mixture of rides for different ages as well as Splash Landings water park. Another great place to visit is Peak Wildlife Park where you come face to face with iconic species and have a ‘walk through’ experience. There is something for everybody here and Ramsfor Farm offers the perfect base to retreat back to after a fun filled day.

Although very beautiful inside and clean. Not as big as the pictures make it look. Outside area very dark while trying to unload, parking not directly outside the door. Late check-in (4pm) and Early departure times (9am), owners could be more flexible. Poor water pressure, struggled to have a hot shower, mainly cold. A big problem was owners control the heating!! Over-ride heating thermostat for upstairs hidden on top of the wardrobe. No welcome pack, we understand it is self catering but only 1 x toilet roll, empty hand-wash left on the side, all the cleaning products were left empty. Unfortunately we wouldn't stay again.

The stables is well situated in the Peak District and near to Alton Towers. The kitchen diner is well equipped. The lounge has comfy sofas, is nicely decorated and plenty of side tables for drinks etc. The 2 bedrooms are both en-suite and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers and the matching bedding and towels made it all blend in delightfully. It was fun to watch the hens mooching around the garden and the view from the bedroom was stunning. I will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.
