The Pump House is a beautifully unique and peaceful cottage, praised for its cosy underfloor heating, scenic location, and tasteful furnishings. Guests enjoyed the tranquility, wildlife, and the secure garden for pets. The property's renovation and thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack, have been well-received, although some guests noted a desire for additional amenities like a freezer or larger TV.
Guests consistently described the property as spotless, indicating a high level of cleanliness throughout their stay.
The location is celebrated for its quiet, peaceful setting and proximity to nature, with an arboretum and country estate to explore. However, some guests mentioned it is a bit remote and challenging to find.
The comfort of The Pump House is well-regarded, with mentions of a cosy atmosphere, underfloor heating, and a comfortable bed. A few guests, however, found the sofa and bed softness not to their preference.
The property is equipped for a comfortable stay, with a roll top bath and secure garden. Some guests missed having a freezer and suggested improvements like a downstairs washroom and a larger TV.

An ideal place for a peaceful get away. The Pump House is finished to a high standard, on lovely grounds that you are free to explore. It has a comfy bed and good shower. We loved the outdoor hammock type swings. Our only niggle was that the TV is a bit small for the distance to the settee.

The pump house is beautiful so well renovated, warm and clean,it is remote though and took us a while to find it in the dark and the rain ..access roads are narrow and more like farm tracks, Clare the housekeeper was happy for us to ring her and she helped us get to the property. The nearest village with shops/take aways etc is around a 15 min drive away (codsall),there was a lovely welcome pack with Milk /biscuits and a xmas tree/wreath up too for when we arrived. Thankyou ! we had a lovely time celebrating our wedding anniversary! Nancy & Warren Abbotts
