Kitts Cottage in Malvern is highly praised for its peacefulness, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches by the owner, Rachele. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space, comfortable furnishings, and the welcome basket. The location is ideal for exploring the Malvern Hills, though parking can be tight. The cottage is dog-friendly, adding to its charm.
Reviews consistently mention the cottage's cleanliness, with guests finding it very clean and well-maintained. One review noted a 'doggy smell' from previous pet visitors, but this seems an isolated comment rather than a common concern.
The location is generally praised for its proximity to the Malvern Hills and local amenities. However, some guests found parking challenging and the proximity to neighbours and a school less than ideal for those seeking isolation.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of a comfortable bed and sofa. The size of the cottage is noted as cosy, which may affect comfort for some, but overall the sentiment is positive.
Unfortunately we’ve been unable assess this category comprehensively enough based on the reviews we’ve received from guests about this property.
The owner's thoughtfulness is frequently highlighted, with guests loving the welcome basket and other small touches. It should be noted that while these gifts are greatly appreciated, they are a courtesy and not guaranteed with every stay.
Malvern 5 miles. A beautiful single-storey, detached cottage perfectly located, nestling on the eastern side of the Malvern Hills, five miles from the town of Malvern. The charm of the cottage can be seen as you pull up outside setting the scene for a romantic break in a beautiful part of the country. Step inside and straight away the quality, style and owner's personal touches are evident combining a high standard of furnishings with comfort and character. A very well-equipped kitchen has everything needed should you wish to prepare a romantic dinner, and a stunning sitting room complete with warming woodburning stove is ideal for those chilly evenings. Relax in the bath after a day walking on the hills and wake up refreshed after a deep sleep in the gorgeous bedroom. An external boot room is also available to provide space for storing bikes or golf clubs and hanging and drying walking gear. Outside the front enclosed garden makes an ideal place to relax with a good book, enjoy alfresco dining or sit with a refreshing drink whilst enjoying the surroundings. The cottage sits on the Elgar Route, which is a driving route through Worcestershire, following the life and works of Edward Elgar. Walks on the Malvern Hills can be enjoyed from the doorstep of the cottage while the town centre is just a short drive away. Take a short stroll to St Wulstans Nature Reserve with its beautiful woodland walks, great for dog walkers. Alternatively, visit the Three Counties Showground with plenty of events on throughout the year. Visit the riverside town of Upton-on-Severn, Ledbury with its first class restaurants or the spa town of Cheltenham famous for Gold Cup horseracing. The towns of Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and the many unspoilt Cotswold towns and village also make a great day out. A superb quintessential English country cottage ideal for a romantic holiday at any time of year.
