Even the weather was spot on!

The information contained inside the property seemed inconsistent. Two examples. There was conflicting information in the visitors notes about parking and in the notice in the property itself (the notes in the folder state a car can be parked for loading & unloading, the notice at the entrance states strictly no parking). Similarly the notice and timetable for rubbish collection are for last year. Neither is a disaster, but in terms of the parking there is clearly some sort of on-going dispute with the neighbours. One evening their red fiesta was pointedly parked across the entrance, even though there was ample space on the drive. Not a huge problem but symptomatic of the property. It’s very nice, but lacks some things that make the difference between good and excellent E.g, bedside lamps in bedrooms. Having said this we had a great stay, loved the views and enjoyed the local area.

Can walk from the door onto the hills, which was great for either early morning dog walks or all day hikes! Great Malvern is also walkable - we did a lovely 2-3 hour (not direct) hike over the hills to have lunch in the town, than walked back along the mostly flat road, which has a footpath the whole way and takes about 40 minutes. A couple of points: The listing says there is an off road parking space. Although there is a drive in front of the property, the signs in the house say no parking on drive at any time. This does mean parking on quite a busy road (although house very set back and no road noise in the house) - we don’t mind this, but people should be aware. The garden is beautiful, but if you have a small dog which likes to explore, it’s not quite secure. Our dog did end up in the neighbour’s garden on the first evening! The property managers were very responsive, and nothing was too much. The weather for us was unexpectedly good, and we messaged in the first evening to ask if the outside furniture could be put on the decking, and this was done before we’d even had our morning coffee the next day. The decking was a sun trap, so was great to be able to sit out and enjoy it! All in all, a lovely place to stay, and we highly recommend.
