The booking was straightforward (thank you Sykes), all the instructions on how to access the property were easy to follow. The owners were very friendly and we had some lovely fresh eggs from their chickens to greet us, including a daily visit from one of the chickens during our stay! We did have one disturbed night when a smoke detector started beeping due to low battery and we would normally have been able to sort it ourselves but the ceiling was very high and beyond our reach. The following morning we saw the owner in the yard and mentioned it and he immediately came and sorted it. I would gladly recommend this property, the owners and the area, which we were already familiar with. They even arranged wonderful weather for us!! An all round wonderful holiday.

Generally it is very well fitted and maintained and has a good level of equipment and the necessary utensils. The owners ask for and give privacy which is excellent yet they are at hand if needed. The cottage is well situated for all the surrounding area and we would have no hesitation to recommending it to anyone looking for a good value and excellent property in lovely area.

The cottage was meticulous and beautifully decorated throughout. The accommodation is very spacious, well equipped, also extremely secure as it is accessed through electric gates. It also benefited from having a private patio at the rear. Lucy and Tom are lovely hosts and added an extra special touch by providing fresh eggs from their own hens. We would definitely recommend this cottage.
