Guests say

Guests consistently praise Alstroemeria Lodge for its cleanliness, welcoming hosts, and peaceful location. The property is well-regarded for its comfort, including a hot tub and thoughtful touches like handmade soap and local cookies. While some guests found the space compact, the overall experience is highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

Reviews frequently highlight the property's cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'nice and clean' and 'beautiful & clean on arrival'. One mention of rough towels suggests a minor area for improvement.

The lodge's location is often described as peaceful and perfect for relaxation, with privacy for the hot tub and easy access to local attractions. The proximity to town and the countryside setting contribute to its high rating.

Comfort is well-received, with guests enjoying the new sofa and the overall quaintness of the lodge. However, one review mentions a feeling of claustrophobia due to the small size, slightly impacting the score.

Facilities like the hot tub are a highlight, and the lodge is equipped with necessary cooking utensils. Some guests experienced minor issues with a tub and suggested improvements to the towels, indicating room for enhancement in maintenance.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches such as handmade gifts and a welcome pack. While these are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed with every stay.

The hot tub was brilliant. Only thing i would suggest is that the towels are very rough and not very nice on the skin, and also the tub wouldn’t work very well and said it had bad connection- wasn’t a problem for us but maybe someone else would want to watch it when they stay. Thank you again for a lovely relaxing time!

David was very friendly and did everything to make us feel comfortable. We had bike rides in the area many times a day.. Ideal stay for us as the primary purpose was to meditate and read. It’s a very peaceful area located in the country side. Hot tub was a nice place to relax in the evening after the days walks/ bike rides. Will definitely return.
