Situated on a working sheep farm it is within walking distance of the village where you’ll find a children’s park and a railway station with regular trains to Skipton and Leeds. There are 2 pubs within a 3-4 minute walk. There are plenty of walks direct from the door, with the Pennine Way running past the farm offering a multitude of picturesque walks.
The market town of Skipton is just 3 miles away, known as the ’Gateway to the Dales’ where you will find shopping, a Norman castle and canal boat trips. Close by is picturesque Bolton Abbey, lovely to explore and stroll through the woodland alongside the river at any time of the year. Shop 750 yards, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

4 older ladies wanting a quiet relaxing break, booked the accommodation with a hot tub. Everything you needed was provided and to a high standard. Skipton was 3 miles away but we had access to a village shop and 2 pubs. Ideal spot for walkers. Not for those with mobility problems as its a hilly area, perfect for us.

In short - what a beautiful hidden gem!Even with a town power cut and persistent rain, this place was perfect. Walks from the door for the pooch. Local bars all dog friendly. The lodge itself immaculately clean, no evidence of any previous dogs. This was just what the doctor ordered for a workaholic who needed to rest. The hot tub was lovely, the cover helped with the constant rain ☔️
