Thimble Cottage is consistently praised for its excellent location, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches such as a bottle of wine. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to local amenities and the comfort of the living spaces, despite a few minor critiques about the kitchen size and sofa support. The cottage's charm and the host's responsiveness contribute to a highly recommended and delightful stay.
Guests frequently mention the property's spotless condition, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage. The attention to detail in maintaining a clean environment contributes to the positive experiences of the visitors.
The cottage's location is highly praised for being close to the main street, pubs, shops, and historical sites, making it an ideal base for exploring Haworth and the surrounding Yorkshire Dales.
Overall, guests find the cottage comfortable, with high-quality bedding and a spacious bathroom. Some guests noted the sofa could be more supportive, but the armchairs and other amenities are well-received.
The facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful interior design. However, some guests noted the kitchen's size as a limitation, and minor maintenance issues like cobwebs and weeds were mentioned.
The host's thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of welcome gifts such as wine and snacks. While these gestures are greatly appreciated by guests, it is noted that such extras, while delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

All of this awaits with a stay at Thimble Cottage.
The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.

All rooms well decorated and great bathroom and kitchen, all very clean. Thanks for setting up the twin beds and snacks. Bonus having parking in a quiet location, yet only yards from shops and eateries. (Would have been nice to sit on patio area, if the weeds could be tackled. A few cobwebs on light fittings and around top bedroom ceiling)

Lovely touches such as a bottle of wine, chocolate and crisps. Spotlessly clean thru out the cottage with parking up the side right next to the door. Perfect. Weâre definitely going to return.

Very well appointed. Fantastic location in the centre of Haworth and most importantly, parking for 2 cars. We had to contact the owner on a couple of occasions for minor issues and we received prompt communication. Would highly recommend this cottage and would not hesitate to return
