The hot tub is overlooked by the other pods, the heating system didn’t work but we didn’t report as was our last night and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic 4-night stay at High Farm Holiday Park and had the most wonderful time.We stayed in one of the glamping pods with a hot tub, and it was definitely the highlight of our holiday. The hot tub was already heated and ready to use when we arrived, which was a lovely touch after our journey. The pod was spotless, cosy and well equipped, with an en-suite bathroom and everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The kitchen had all the basic essentials, including pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups and glasses. Washing up liquid, a sponge and a tea towel were also provided, which was really helpful. There was also a handy clothes drying rack that hangs over the decking, which was perfect for drying towels and swimsuits. One tip for future guests is to bring a sharp kitchen knife and scissors, as there was only a bread knife in the pod. The bin is quite small too with only one bin bag, so it’s worth bringing more and taking rubbish out regularly.The only slight downside for us was that the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but we put a spare duvet underneath the fitted sheet as a mattress topper and it made a huge difference, so I’d definitely recommend doing that if you’re using the sofa bed.As we stayed during a particularly warm spell, the pod did become quite hot during the day and in the evenings. We’d recommend taking a fan or small portable air conditioning unit if the forecast is for hot weather. We also think fly screens on the doors and Velux window would be a fantastic addition, as it would allow guests to keep the pod cooler without letting insects inside.The park itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s immaculately maintained, with stunning lakes, a lovely nature trail and peaceful surroundings that make it feel like a real escape. We enjoyed walking around the site and taking in the wildlife, and it was such a relaxing place to unwind. The on-site shop was really handy, and the location was perfect for exploring Beverley, Hornsea, Bridlington and the surrounding area.We visited with our two children, aged 4 and 7, and they had an amazing time. We made some wonderful family memories and are already talking about coming back.We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend High Farm Holiday Park to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway with a touch of luxury.
