Guests say

Guests have enjoyed their stays at The Dairy, appreciating its spaciousness, warmth, and peaceful location within a beautiful park. The nature walks and local wildlife add to the charm, and the staff are noted for their friendliness and helpfulness. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall experience is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it clean and comfortable. However, there are comments about the oven and cooking utensils not being clean, which suggests room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquility, with easy access to tourist attractions. The park's natural setting and wildlife are highlights, contributing to a very positive perception of the location.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with adequate space and furnishings. Some guests mention a comfortable bed and sofas, while one review notes an uncomfortable bed and excessive light in the bedroom, indicating varied experiences.

Facilities like Wi-Fi, parking, and outdoor seating are appreciated, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as bulbs needing replacement and noisy surroundings. The presence of an EV charger is unclear, and some facilities like the convenience store did not meet expectations.

While guests mention a basic 'welcome pack', there is insufficient detail to assess the overall thoughtfulness of the property's offerings. As such, it's important to note that any gifts or extras should be considered a bonus and are not guaranteed.

A comfortable enough cottage for two, plenty of space, nice and warm, kitchen only had basic equipment and 'welcome pack' was only most basic few teabags coffee (in sticks) and milk (in plastic tubes!) - not very welcoming or homely.Cottage also middle one of three which could be linked to adjoining cottages so was able to hear lots of noise from neighbouring cottage.I was unaware at time of booking that it was situated in the middle of a holiday park, but this did not prove to be an issue. The park itself was beautiful and the nature walks lovely. However the convenience store was not open every day and late opening on at least one meaning that it wasn't very useful. Reception and out of hours staff were very friendly and helpful. Park is very well located for easy access to tourist attractions.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Dairy. It was clean and comfortable. Minor issues with the TV signal and a static for sale disrupting our view from the kitchen and lounge. The courtyard is very pretty and walks around the lakes are stunning. We saw a Heron and lots of Dragonfly. The 10th restaurant/cafe was friendly and served a nice choice of simple food.. .We thoroughly enjoyed the 9 hole park 3 and the receptionists were so friendly and helpful They offered lots of advise on the local area and places to visit. Nothing was any trouble. Thank you xxOne minor disappointment was the Convenience store which was not open as advertised and had very little stock.
