A walk along the golden sands of Fraisthorpe Beach will bring you to the bustling seaside holiday town of Bridlington. Here you will find a plethora of shops, tea rooms, restaurants, and bars. There are also plenty of amusements and facilities for children. For a taste of local history, be sure to spend the day at Sewerby Hall and gardens, and Burton Agnes Hall, or head a little further inland and explore the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. There are miles of footpaths to explore and cycle routes to ride so do make sure to bring your bikes with you. The ancient City of York is just an hour away and the pretty market towns of Beverley and Driffield are waiting to be explored. The nearby coastal resorts of Filey and Scarborough are also well worth a visit. The Poplars is a wonderful base from which to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire.

Fantastic bungalow very spacious great for familys, or two people. Lovely enclosed outside back garden, keep dogs and young children safe. Theres a morrisons etc you'll need a car to get there unless theres buses. Fraisthorpe beach is lovely beach great for dog walks, and kids clean beach. The owner Mr Tenent came to welcome us lovely man to talk to said, if we needed anything to contact them. Out standing inside and out clean and comfortable and lots of space. My dog loved it as soon as we got it, hes normally bit apprensive.
