facilities to take your horse on holiday by arrangement with the owners, with 5 miles of off-road hacking available around the farm. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

We are sure this cottage would suit many people, but we found it rather impersonal, more like a hotel room with a kitchenette than a "cottage". It was rather lacking in the sorts of minor extras that we are used to, eg kitchen roll, cling film etc etc. There was no information on recycling, and also no instructions for the TV, kitchen appliances and central heating. Having said that the fact that there was a dishwasher and washing machine was very good. The towels were also very good quality and lovely and soft. We personally didn't like the fact that the bed was two singles zipped together, but this is personal preference.
