Guests appreciate the thoughtful welcome pack, the proximity to walks and local attractions, and the farm shop. 4.5 stars. Beautiful cottage. Very spacious, plenty of windows, comfortable furnishings, and lovely and warm in winter. Parking spaces opposite the front door which is very handy. Good lighting options throughout. Only a couple of issues for us. We booked a high chair and travel cot (which is a really great option) but unfortunately were forgotten. Once called they didn't take too long to arrive and be set up, but it was a little inconvenient as we arrived late in the day and neither of us had phone signal in the cottage so i had to go out in the car to call about it. The owner was friendly and helpful though, and easily sorted for us.Other than that we couldn't find an empty kitchen cupboard/shelf to store food. The kitchen is very well equipped, even scales (only thing we couldn't find was scissors) but there are loads of different types of glasses. Maybe it would be an idea to combine more things in each cupboard, get rid of some glasswear, or add a shelf for food.Overall we loved our stay and would gladly stay again :)It would be nice if there was a discount for guests at the farm shop cafe. We did visit the farm shop but would have been more likely to stop for lunch if there was. Pleasant walk to the Wolds Way nearby. Easy drive into Hull and the York park and ride. There are skylights which let in more natural light. In winter they were great; not sure whether they would let much early light in in the summer?
