Bluebell is ideal for a relaxing break close Hornsea a 5-minute drice and Mablethorpe Sands, with great walks and cycle routes throughout the area. Bluebell is our able/disable Cottage which is wheelchair friendly .. 2 steps to entrance.

Set in 10-acres of beautiful countryside, these contemporary holiday cottages offer lovingly furnished and comfortable holiday accommodation. Four of the cottages enjoy access to a shared central glass atrium, providing an internal patio area. Three further cottages one is disable friendly, two futher have hottubs .Children and adults alike can enjoy the owners’ collection of farmyard animals including goats, pigs, sheep, ponies, donkeys, and poultry. With a designated dog walk in the grounds, visitors’ pets are made to feel very welcome here too. Mappleton Sands are close by, ideal for summer picnics on the tranquil sandy beach or a cliff top stroll, and a 4-mile drive takes you to the seaside town of Hornsea with The Mere, a birdwatcher’s paradise and where boats can be hired for rowing and fishing. Here you are also within easy reach of the historic town of Beverley with its minster and renowned racecourse, and the award-winning aquarium ’The Deep’, in Hull city centre. There are stately homes at Burton Agnes and Sewerby Hall, and further inland lies the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds, the inspiration for David Hockney’s famous paintings. The nearby pub which is 400 yards away is closed at the moment but we have lovely pubs in nearby villages of New Ellerby and Withernwick. Shop 4 miles.

Bluebell cottage is accessible to people with mobility difficulties/wheelchair users, level flooring, wet room with low sink and grab rails around toilet/shower. There were two tilt and raise armchairs. The property was clean and tidy. The kitchen/utility was well equipped. The grounds were interesting with a few animals for petting. The owners were helpful and provided a ramp for access if needed. A grab handle or a raised step by the door would have been useful but we managed ok. We could park the car close to cottage. Great base for visiting Hornsea, Bridlington etc. The farm is a wedding venue too so cottages on site could get booked by guests.

The cottage has everything you need to have a great holiday.The location is very quiet yet not too far to go to all Hornseas amenities.Liz and David who own Bluebell are caring and are always available should you need them.

A truly wonderful cottage !! Nothing else to add really...........huge cottage, exceptionally clean, great location, blissfully quiet. All helped by 7-days of beautiful weatherNegatives ?? I had to make breakfast every morning and (being the farming season) the local farmer sets off his bird scaring canon routinely every 40-mins that one our two dogs wasn't overly happy about !!
