About this property

Burton Pidsea 4.2 miles. Situated amidst the unspoilt countryside of East Riding of Yorkshire is Partridge Place, an exceptional barn conversion resting within striking distance of the coast and the exciting city of Hull. The barn has been immaculately transformed to provide groups of families and friends a base in which to explore the surrounding area, peppered with a network of cycle trails and footpaths, as well as easy access to sublime beaches on the coastline. At the end of each day, step into the open-plan living space, where the large floor to ceiling windows affords a constant connection with the surrounding countryside and beyond, complemented by a plush interior design and all the mod cons for a comfortable stay. Engineered oak covers the underheated floor and lies beneath sleek kitchen units, which are topped by granite worktops and completed with a quality range of appliances to assist in cooking family-favourite dishes. Gather around the dining table to relish in your home-cooked meals and enjoy the company of your loved ones with an accompanying tipple or two, before the sumptuous L-shape sofa invites you to unwind and catch up on the latest box set from the Smart TV with Netflix. Those who find stairs a little challenging will be delighted by the two ground floor bedrooms, where crisp white linens drape across a king-size bed and a double bed, both of which are served by a ground-floor shower room. Continuing to impress are two king-size bedrooms, situated on the first floor, both boasting sumptuous mattresses coupled with gorgeous pillows, ensuring that sleep comes easy after a bracing day on the Yorkshire coast. To the exterior, there is a private patio, where table and chairs offer an alternative spot for alfresco dining before savouring a moment of relaxation by dipping into the bubbling hot tub. Bring your loved ones to Partridge Place to share a relaxing break to this part of Yorkshire. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1062000, 1062001 and 162002, together sleeping up to 28 people.

Only six miles from the coast, in the middle of East Yorkshire's Holderness peninsula, is the small agricultural village of Burton Pidsea. Along with a typical village store and church, the village boasts a few local inns. Flat country lanes all around it make for great riding and easy strolling. With all amenities, charming architecture, and tea rooms, nearby old Hedon is a great choice. The City of Hull, the 2017 City of Culture, is located seven miles from Burton Pidsea and features the amazing aquatic centre The Deep in addition to the well-known Truck Theatre. The ancient inner centre makes for an intriguing tour and sheds light on Hull's previous trading relationships. Wide, open sandy beaches stretch from Spurn Point to Bridlington, and birdwatchers will enjoy the Flamborough Cliffs, Bempton, and Spurn Point rspb Reserves. The picturesque, historic City of York is a short drive away, as are the Beverley racetrack and the Yorkshire Wolds' undulating hills.

Couldn’t fault the cleanliness, space, and lovely decor. The barn was extremely well equipped and beautifully located on a farm with nearby local amenities and pub just a 5-10 minute walk away, that serves great food and was very welcoming. Nice relaxing break, would love to visit again sometime

This is adequate if you were just heating up or eating take-aways.

Fantastic inside and out. Peaceful spot, lovely outside areas and hot tub. Shops, village and pubs not far if you want them. Three generations all enjoyed ourselves and definitely want to go back.
