The Barn has been delightfully restored to provide a single-storey getaway on the East Riding of Yorkshire, within the charming village of Easington. The area is renowned for birdwatching, as well as superb coastal scenery, making this a welcoming bolt hole for couples looking to get away for a while. Enter this delightful little cottage and be greeted by a compact yet excellently furnished kitchen, lined with smart modern units. Through the other side of this lies a pristine, all-white shower room to get yourself ready in at the start of each day. Adjacent to this you will find the peaceful double bedroom, enhanced wonderfully by skylights and neutral furnishings. Completing the interior of this homely hideaway is an inviting

living/dining room, a snug two-seater sofa is paired pleasantly with a

wall-mounted TV to create the perfect relaxing spot for those cosy evenings

in. The romantic dining room takes place next to the window so you can appreciate the setting as you tuck into a delicious home-cooked meal. In the summer months, soak up the sun from the comfort of the pleasant courtyard with a refreshingly cold drink in hand. A short stroll takes you into the lovely village centre of Easington, home to a a friendly pub, and Easington beach is just a 15 minute walk away. The renowned Spurn Point is nearby for keen birdwatchers to enjoy. The coastline is bursting with wonderful sandy beaches, with the charming resort town of Withernsea also easy to reach. For a taste of the big city, head to the large port of Hull, a striking place bursting with first-class architecture, amenities and activities. The Barn is a welcoming base for couples to enjoy all-year-round.

    While we aren't dog owners it's clear that The Barn is ideal for dog lovers and owners. Clean, cosy and comfortable. Nice area at front with table and chairs to eat al fresco should weather be on your side. Hope to return.

    No shop in the village but sandwiches and lunch also breakfast can be brought at Teresa's tasty treats at the pub, excellent food freshly cooked and prepared while you wait, what more can you want
