A cosy cottage in a lovely rural setting. The cottage is well equipped and the upside down design means that views from the kitchen and living area are really nice. We would think that it's more for 2 people than 4 unless you're prepared to squash up a little. It's a shame that the Village pub is closed (but reopening??) but both the sea at Helmsley and the town of Beverley are close by and Beverley is lovely. Walking in the grounds of the cottage are pleasant and it's possible to walk to the mere via the fields beyond the property. Overall a really good holiday

A lovely upside down cottage that adds to its character having nice views from upstairs. The owners were very helpful but not intrusive being onsite if required. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed. The local town of Hornsea had all the shops needed to use for our break. If there was a downside it was a shame the local pub is presently closed but due to re open as within walking distance so that will be good.Lovely hot tub which was welcome on our return.
