The grounds are filled with trees and guests can overlook the farm pond. An ideal base for bird lovers with Spurn Point, Hornsea Mere and rspb Bempton all easily accessible. The closest beach is Mappleton Sands and cyclists can enjoy the Holderness Loop. Hull, 12 miles, is home to the Ferens art gallery and The Deep Aquarium. Along the coastline lie the resorts of Bridlington and Filey. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The property was spacious, well appointed and good value.The location was quiet but good for travelling along the coast or inland to places such as York, where the park and ride facility was most useful.
