Inside, the large open-plan living area features vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and a cosy wood-burning stove, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Underfloor heating keeps things snug year-round, while the well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious meals. The beautifully furnished separate bedroom boasts a luxurious king-size bed and smart TV, while the modern bathroom includes a deep-filled bath and separate shower, ideal for unwinding after a day’s adventure. Step outside into your own enclosed walled garden, complete with mature borders, gravel paths, a raised patio area, and a fresh-water, wood-fired hot tub—perfect for a relaxing soak under the stars. Thanks to the area’s low light pollution, stargazing here is exceptional, and although we can’t guarantee the Northern Lights, they have been known to make an appearance.

This was our second visit and certainly not our last. This place is brilliant, peaceful, private and spotlessly clean. Spacious and well equipped kitchen, I managed to cook a decent valentines meal! Great location for the coast and a brilliant local pub down the road for the best Sunday lunch. The log burner kept us toasty warm but the heating is more than adequate for the cold winter days.Hazel and Remmy are fantastic hosts too, nothings too much trouble and the place is an absolute credit to them.

The cottage is wonderful, warm, perfectly clean, and has all the comforts you need. The hot tub, log burner, coffee maker, and welcome pack, make you feel really special. All the bedding, towels and robes are excellent quality. For a special couples trip this is perfect. The wifi access is good and the smart TVs allow you to log into you preferred apps.The location is great , nice and quiet, surrounded by countryside, yet within easy driving distance to Beverley, Hornsea, and Hull. The roads are decent to and from the cottage and the parking is good, off road, across from the cottage entrance. There are a couple of nice pubs, that serve good food, within a 5 minutes drive. The owners are helpful, yet very discreet. This has been our second visit and we are booked in again later in the year.
