An absolutely beautiful cottage set in a peaceful, countryside, location. The owners were helpful, showing us the cottage, then they were unintrusive for the rest of the stay. They gave us their mobile number in case we needed anything. The cottage is very well equipped and is perfect for either a short romantic stay or longer holiday. The welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee and wine, was a very nice touch. Everything was spotlessly clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower and bath, with good quality towels provided. The private garden with hot tub is well maintained. The private parking is straight across from the front door. The underfloor heating was perfect for chilly days and fully controlled by the us. There is a wood burner if you want a more romantic touch. The wifi was good, my husband watch a football match on the smart tv no problem. We enjoyed our short stay so much we have booked for a week next year. For anyone wondering the roads to the cottage are good wide B class roads.
